I kept working on drafting the budget part of the Indiegogo page to make sure it’s grammatically correct and that it properly conveys the information. I want to be as transparent as possible but I also don’t want to overwhelm the reader. I also started to see if I could make a pie-chart so that the people interested can better visualize the information. This is a simple pie-chart that takes the percentage of where each part of the budget is going to.
In addition to working on the Indiegogo page, I prepared some basic e-mails so that I can send them to the actors/actresses that I am casting over the next couple of days. This is basically a format that will tells them they got picked, for what role, and what it entails. I wanted a basic e-mail template to ensure clear communication but also so I didn’t have to draft a new e-mail every time I contacted a new person. I also plan to call them on their phone if I have their number but I will be sending an e-mail copy regardless.
I don’t exactly know yet when I’ll be shooting the Indiegogo video (I’m thinking end of March) but if you want to help or you know someone who will be free to help, please get in touch with me! I’ll need someone to handle camera and someone to handle boom.
