I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving break! I went to Cancun, Mexico at the beginning of the week to relax and it was a lot of fun. I really want to be able to go back one day. The view was beautiful, the beaches were amazing, and the food was spectacular. Towards the end of the week, I visited family in Merida, Mexico and attended the wedding of one of my cousins. It was nice to see them and spend a Thanksgiving (even if we technically didn’t celebrate it because it’s not a Mexican holiday) with members of the family I don’t get to see often. I flew back yesterday.
Today I’m taking the day to catch up in regards to Eternal Camping. This means looking through the social media accounts, looking at all the data collected over the week, and generally also looking at where I am and where I want to be. The Facebook Boost campaign was in my opinion very successful at getting people to like the page. With a tiny budget, I was able to over 200 likes and reached over 3,000 people! It’s great to know that my project was able to generate some interest despite having no pictures of the cast or the production!
My plan for December is to work some on the script (I need to make a major change to see if it improves the script) and I need to keep up the work on the social media front. All of this before the Christmas/New Year’s Holiday break begins (which depending on circumstances might last 2-3 weeks).
I’ll start working on the script tomorrow.
